Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As a QA Intern at Octopus BI, you will:
- Analyze large data sets and internal applications to identify trends and patterns.
- Troubleshoot issues, submit bug reports, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve them.
- Identify areas for improvement from a QA perspective and propose actionable solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience in web automation (Selenium is a plus).
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in daily quality and data engineering testing tasks.
- Assist in maintaining seamless product functionality through technical support.
- Improve and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure the highest standards of quality.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages.
- Experienced in performance testing using JMeter and/or web automation.
- Familiar with test-driven development and agile principles/scrum ceremonies.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent in communication, with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Fluent in English, with outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset and a knack for solving complex problems.
