System Administration Intern - [ Hybrid ]

We are looking for a motivated System Administration Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in managing and administering various systems such as Grafana, Salesforce, NetSuite, BambooHR, and more. You will be responsible for handling ticket requests related to system access, permissions, password resets, and other common issues. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system administration, customer support, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket Management: Manage and prioritize user-submitted tickets across systems like Grafana, Salesforce, NetSuite, BambooHR, etc.
- User Support: Respond promptly to requests regarding system access, permissions, role changes, password resets, and other user-related issues.
- System Administration: Perform tasks such as user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management following established protocols.
- Troubleshooting: Work closely with internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve system-related issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of user requests, issue resolutions, and system configurations.
- System Enhancements: Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements under the guidance of senior administrators.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve your technical skills and understanding of system functionalities.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to best practices in security and compliance while handling user access and sensitive information.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to internal users across various departments and teams.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of ticket management and system administration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Networking.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with remote control software such as Remote Desktop Connection.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to independently investigate and resolve issues using your research and experience.
- Proactive Approach: Take initiative to not only resolve issues but also prevent them from recurring.
- Software Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding and experience with software and databases.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and commitment to quality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support effective customer service.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Initiative: Demonstrated resourcefulness and a strong sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude.
