Join CADMUS, a pioneer in digital media technology, and dive into the world of server-side development as a Back-End Engineering Intern. In this role, you’ll work on building robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems that form the backbone of our digital solutions, powering the next generation of innovative marketing technologies.
Duration: 3-6 months
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and microservices that drive our digital platforms.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Engage in code reviews, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure high-quality, efficient code.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose innovative backend solutions and improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid foundation in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Go.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL), API development, and cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with back-end development projects through coursework, hackathons, or internships.
- A strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
