🌍 About the Internship

This is a paid, remote internship where you’ll work on real-world NLP challenges. You’ll help us understand job descriptions, extract skills from resumes, and build models that improve how thousands of tech professionals find jobs in Sri Lanka.

🧑‍💻 What You’ll Do

Develop and fine-tune NLP models for text classification, NER, and keyword extraction
Work with resume data and job descriptions to improve semantic search and matching
Preprocess and clean text data from multiple sources
Experiment with Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, and open-source LLMs
Document experiments and collaborate with the machine learning and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

Undergraduate or recent graduate in CS, AI, Data Science, or related
Solid Python skills with experience in NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Transformers)
Familiarity with basic NLP tasks like tokenization, vectorization, and embeddings
Bonus: Experience with LLMs, ChatGPT APIs, or semantic search tools
Strong curiosity and commitment to building practical AI tools
