About the Role:
As a Software Engineering Intern at Metana, you'll play a crucial mentoring role, supporting students in our coding boot camps. Your focus will be creating a supportive learning environment that fosters software engineering skills. This role not only shapes the future developers but also offers opportunities for personal growth within a dynamic tech community.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor students by providing online assistance with coursework.
  • Identify and address educational challenges in collaboration with the team.
  • Develop and deliver educational content and presentations.
  • Design and evaluate test assignments to ensure educational goals are met.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Full-stack development experience, particularly with React (MERN stack).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentorship.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a structured approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and collaborative coding practices.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Salary and compensation

45K LKR - 65K LKR / monthly
