Freelance full-stack developer

About the Project

We’re a product team building a scalable web app and need a freelance full-stack developer to ship features end-to-end (frontend, API, database, deployment). You’ll work closely with a product lead and UI/UX designer, deliver weekly milestones, and ship production-ready code.

What You’ll Do

• Build responsive UI and integrate APIs for key user flows (auth, dashboards, search, payments).

• Design efficient data models and write clean, testable services.

• Implement role-based access, caching, and error monitoring.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and SEO fundamentals.

• Set up CI/CD and environment configs for dev/stage/prod.

• Write concise docs and handover notes.

Tech We Use (pick your strongest path)

• JavaScript path: Next.js/React, Node.js (Express/Nest), PostgreSQL/MySQL, Prisma/TypeORM.

• PHP path (nice-to-have): Laravel, Vue.js/Inertia, MySQL.

• DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Nginx, Vercel/Render/DigitalOcean/AWS.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production apps (freelance or in-house).

• Solid grasp of REST/JSON, auth (JWT/OAuth), web security basics.

• Comfortable with SQL design, migrations, and performance tuning.

• Experience owning features from spec → deploy → iterate.

Nice-to-Have

• Stripe integrations, file storage (S3/Spaces), queues.

• Analytics (GA4), error tracking (Sentry), logging.

• Basic SEO (meta, sitemaps, Open Graph, schema).

Deliverables & Milestones (example)

1. Week 1–2: Auth, user roles, project scaffold, CI/CD.

2. Week 3–4: Core feature set (CRUD + search + pagination).

3. Week 5–6: Payments, emails, notifications.

4. Week 7–8: QA, perf/SEO pass, docs & handover.

How We Work

• Weekly milestone plan and demo call.

• Git PRs with brief descriptions and checklists.

• Issue tracker with acceptance criteria.

• Paid trial task (4–6 hours) before full engagement.

Budget

• Hourly: LKR 3,500–8,000 based on experience & speed.

• Fixed: Share a milestone-based quote with time estimates.
